An invitation to join us for a not too fussy, not too fancy, just a little bit special Sunday Lunch - to celebrate all of the Mothers in our lives, cheer them on and make them feel just so, or to just come on by and have a fab time with us.
Mesdames et messieurs, we figure that if you love your mums as much as we do, then that goes for each and every day, not just the one annual Sunday in May. By the same token, if you love Magnolia, then you love what we usually do, and if it ain’t broke, why change it?
Join us on Sunday 12 May for our run of the Magnolia mill but utterly delightful $85 three course chef’s menu… except that it’s Sunday lunch.
Of course we’ll have bubbles and booze to suit all. There’ll be two wine pairings available to choose from, with a non-alcoholic pairing option available also for the designated drivers and non drinkers among you. And of course, there’s our otherwise extensive and delicious list of bottles and wines by the glass to choose from as well. There’ll even be stickies, to go with some rather special desserts made just for the day.
But the key thing is, no gimmicks, no caveats, with the only special condition being the one we want to leave you with after you’ve lunched with us.

Friday Prix Fixe Lunch
For the last Friday of the year, Magnolia will be offering a $65 per person Prix Fixe Lunch from 12pm.
Complimentary snack on arrival, with your choice of entree and main course. A menu of additional items will be available on the day as well, to complement your menu if you’re in the mood to indulge!

Our first event! and we’re bloody excited for this one.
We’ve been friends and admirers of Jack’s cooking for a long time. Lawrence and jack worked together, first at the Ditc Wine Bar group way back in 2016 and then again at Theodore’s. But more impressively, Jack worked at Franklin (Tas), Ran the kitchen at Bar Romantica and helped set up Manzé with Nagesh (Amongst many other grouse venues). Hell of a resumé for a bloke that looks like he’s 18 years old
He’s been slumming it up in Hobart for a few months, so we thought we’d tempt him up to the big smoke, get him on the pans and show off his gorgeous smile.
